These Xiaomi Automatic Water Saving Devices are a high tech solution to reducing water usage. Once fitted in place of your regular faucet nozzle they block the flow of water until you activate one of the two sensors. When activated they water will either flow until the sensor no longer detects an object, or when the side sensor is activated, for example when placing a large pan or waving your hand over it, the faucet will flow for three mins or until you trigger the side sensor again. Suitable for use in both Kitchen and Bathroom sinks.The unit run from a USB charged battery (upto 6 months per charge) and is IPX6 Waterproof Rated. When the battery runs low simply pop off the mount and charge from any regular USB power source. These are ideal for situations where you would to avoid touching the faucet to help prevent the spread of germs or dirt. The two versions are feature identical, the only difference in the packaging and included manual.
Please note: The ZAJIA and XIAODA are functionally identical, EXCEPT the XIAODA only comes with a single adapter, see images or the Specifications list for Xiaoda Box Contents. Additionally Xiaomi updated the design of the unit recently, newer units will be look a little different to those shown in the main photos.
Two Sensor Modes:
Bottom Sensor: For Short-term Water NeedsWhen an object enters the bottom sensing area (within a limited distance of 10 cm), the water begins to flow. When the object leaves the sensor area, water stops flowing out. This is ideal for washing hands, filling glasses etc...
Side Sensor: Water StorageWhen an object triggers the side sensor area (within about 5cm), water will begin to flow out. If you trigger the sensor again it will stop flowing or will automatically cut off after three minutes.

Usage Notes

General Usage:
Instant mode
Washing the face and washing the new fun bottom sensor to meet the short-term water demand. When the sensor enters the bottom sensing area (with a limited distance of 10cm), the water starts. When the sensor is away, the water is stopped. If the sensor stays in the bottom sensing area, the water will stop automatically after more than 20 seconds of water discharge, which is needed for daily cleaning.
Water storage mode
The side and side sensors of the pots and pans are satisfied with the water storage use requirements. When the sensor enters the side sensing area (with a limited distance of 5 cm), the water starts to flow. The water discharge time lasts for 3 minutes, and the water remains even if the sensory object leaves. If the sensor enters the side sensing area again during the water discharge process, the water can be stopped at all times, which is a good choice for water storage.
