*PAL/EU Region Customers:

While these trays will fit any N64, PAL/EU consoles have a lockout chip to prevent US or Japanese (and even some other language versions) being played. Unless you have a region free modified N64 these will not allow you to play US/Japanese games.

*US/JAPANESE Region Customers:

For Japanese or US console owners, Nintendo simply put the notches in different places and hoped the language barrier would stop cross region play.
