How to Use the Screw Extractor

  • Select size of bits appropriate for the screw you wish to remove
  • Attach the DR bit to the adapter then insert to the extension holder
  • Drill into the screw to be removed
  • Remove the DR bit and adapter, insert the matching EX nit directly into the extension
  • Insert into your drilled hole, run drill in reverse to remove the screw.

Tips:

  • You may need to drill a pilot hole if the surface is too smooth. Otherwise the DR drill bit will slip.
  • Drill must be perpendicular to the screw and set to a low speed
  • Drill the DR bit hole deeper if you can, it will easier for the EX bit to grip and extract.
